High School: Originally moving to Hawaii from Japan her 8th-grade year, Nanna became a three-year varsity starter for King Kelaulike High School, helping secure three district championships and a #3 ranking statewide.  Nanna graduated in three years, earning the district Player of the Year award in her final season. 

Club Team:  Nanna played three seasons for the Hawaiian Style Volleyball Club finishing third in the Las Vegas Classic and winning the gold medal in the 18U division of the SCVA Summer Soiree

HIGH SCHOOL: Was a four-year letterwinner at King Kekaulike High School in Pukalani, Hawaii... Helped her team to three Maui Interscholastic League Championships over the course of her career... Earned MIL Player of the Year honors as a sophomore... Recognized as a top-15 player in the state of Hawaii by the Honolulu Star-Advertiser... Played club volleyball with Hawaiian Style, capturing a club championship at the 2018 Summer Soiree.

PERSONAL: Name is pronounced Ka-lenn-uh Vie-vie... Daughter of Kanani and Shane Adolpho and Kevin and Kristen Vaivai... One of seven children... Undeclared on a college major.

High School: Played for Baldwin High School finishing 3rd in the district rankings and garnering a First Team All-District selection both in her Junior and Senior year. 

Club TeamSiena played two seasons for the Hawaiian Style Volleyball Club finishing 3rd and 5th in back-to-back years at the Las Vegas Classic.

Kiki Leuteneker

Volleyball player Kiki Leuteneker has been named Cal State East Bay's Female Athlete of the Week, sponsored by Doubletree Hilton Pleasanton at the Club, for Sept. 14-20.

The freshman outisde hitter had a breakout week, leading the Pioneers in kills and total points in both of their matches. She was instrumental in a thrilling five-set comeback victory over Stansilaus State last Tuesday, pacing the squad with 17 kills. She hit .265 and added three block assists and 13 digs to notch her first career double-double, as East Bay rallied from down 0-2 to pick up its first conference victory in front of an outstanding crowd at Pioneer Gym.

On Saturday, the Pioneers lost a five-set heartbreaker on the road at Cal State San Marcos, but Leuteneker was once again impressive on the attack. The Hawaii native hit .239 with 15 kills and posted a team-high four total blocks. Through the first 12 matches of her collegiate career, Leuteneker lead the Pioneers in total points, and she's second on the team in kills and blocks

Gabby Ratte - Colby-Sawyer wins 4th NAC Title

Gabrielle Ratte Named NAC Volleyball Rookie of the Week

NEW LONDON, N.H. – October 12, 2015 – Colby-Sawyer freshman Gabrielle Ratte (Kula, Hawaii) has been named North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Women's Volleyball Rookie of the Week.

Ratte, who earned her second Rookie of the Week award this season, stepped in to the setter roll last week and collected 90 assists (5.63 per game) in four matches. She added the third most digs on the team with 33 and five blocks. The highlight of the week was a 40-assist, 18-dig, 5-kill effort in a tough 3-2 loss to Moravian.

The Chargers will remain on the road this week with another tough test at Amherst before resuming NAC action with a tri-match at Husson with Maine Maritime.
